San Teodoro’s beaches spread along no less than 37 km of shore. Here you will find white sandy beaches interspersed with granite rocky formations, free and untamed areas, and a number of well-equipped lidos which make this area even more welcoming for the kids.
Along the coast of San Teodoro, moving from north to west, you will find:
- Cala Ghjlgolu,a mix of sand and pebbles, famous for its crystal-clear waters and weirdly-shaped granite rock formations such as the famous Tartaruga (tortoise).
- Cala Ginepro and Punta Molara, small sandy bays enclosed by rock formations, accessible along natural paths.
- Cala Suaraccia, also known as Spiagge delle Farfalle (butterfly beach) from the name of the first tourist facility at San Teodoro, is a bay with a fine sandy beach protected by junipers and lentisk.
- Baia Salinedda and Salina Bamba, are again two white sand bays backed by saltwater ponds, from which salt was harvested in the past.
Then come famous Cala Brandinchi, Lu Impostu (where you will find Paradise Resort Sardegna), Punta di l’Aldia and La Cinta, all stretches of fine white sand, shallow sea depths and clear waters with an incredible range of colours….framed in scented Mediterranean brush alternating junipers, thistles and reeds.
The last beaches of San Teodoro, proceeding towards the south, are Cala d'Ambra, Isuledda, Seghefusti and Li Marini.
