A seaside tourist resort, Budoni offers entrancing scenery and long white beaches lapped by a crystal-clear sea.

Apart from the beaches, we strongly recommend a trip to the discovery of its archaeological sites dating back to Neolithic and Nuraghic times.

Just outside the historic centre you will find the rock-cut chamber tombs locally known as “Domus de Janas”of l’agliola at Solità, the Conca e Bentu and Su Entosu nuraghi (stone fortresses) and the traditional farmhouses known as “Stazzi di San Pietro”.

If you decide to explore the coast of Budoni by boat, you can rely on the small village of Ottiolu (just 5 km away) which has a marina with 400 berths, excellent services and many restaurants and night clubs.

If you are in the area in August, don’t miss the rich calendar of events of the “Ferragosto Budonese” and the feast of the Patron Saint San Giovanni Battista on the last Sunday in August

Budoni, a sun-kissed small town in north-eastern Sardinia, set in the historical sub-region of the Baronie, bordering on Gallura.
